This Privacy Policy is issued by HYPERSE LLC, a Florida limited liability company (“Hyperse”, “we”, “us”), which operates the Hyperse website, apps and services and is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Hyperse Group LTD, a company registered in the United Kingdom, carries out marketing for Hyperse in the United Kingdom only.

1.1 Personal Information

We may collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you:

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

This section applies in addition to the rest of this Privacy Policy when you use the apps listed below.

11.1 Case Status: USCIS & NVC

Case Status: USCIS & NVC is an iOS app operated by HYPERSE LLC that helps people follow their U.S. immigration cases. It is an independent app and is not affiliated with or endorsed by USCIS, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Department of State, the National Visa Center, or any U.S. government agency.

Receipt numbers are personally identifiable information. A USCIS receipt number identifies a specific immigration case and the person it belongs to. We collect the receipt number of each USCIS case that you choose to track in the app, and we treat it as personally identifiable information (PII).

• Use: receipt numbers are used only to query the case status from USCIS’s official Case Status API, at most once per day for each receipt number, and to notify you in the app when the status changes. They are never used for advertising or profiling, and are never sold, rented or shared with anyone other than USCIS for that query.
• Storage on your device: receipt numbers are stored in the iOS Keychain, masked on screen by default, and never shown in widgets or notifications.
• Storage on our server: receipt numbers are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before they are written to our database. The encryption key is held separately as a server secret and is never stored in the database. To avoid checking the same case twice in one day, the server also keeps a one-way keyed code (HMAC-SHA-256) of each receipt number, from which the number cannot be recovered.
• Protection: all traffic between the app, our server and USCIS is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Only the genuine app can call our server: each request is verified with Apple’s App Attest and signed by the device that added the case, and a device can reach only its own cases. Our server never returns receipt numbers to the app and never writes them to logs or analytics. Our USCIS API credentials are held only on our server. Access to the server and its encryption key is limited to HYPERSE LLC personnel who operate the service.
• Retention and deletion: receipt numbers are kept until you remove the case or choose “Delete All Data” in the app’s Settings. The encrypted receipt number is then deleted from our database immediately, and encrypted database recovery copies are overwritten within 30 days. You can delete your data at any time without contacting us.

Other app data. Names and labels you give to cases and family members, and documents you scan, stay on your device and are never uploaded. Our server stores a random device identifier (not linked to your name, email or Apple ID), an App Attest key identifier, a push notification token if you allow notifications, and subscription transaction identifiers used only to confirm your subscription with Apple. The app does not collect your name, email address, A-Number, passport number or document contents. USCIS receives receipt numbers when we request case status, Apple delivers notifications and processes payments, and Cloudflare hosts our server.
